3/4 yard contrasting fabric
1/4 yard vinyl or heavyweight fabric of your choice
1 foot square piece of plastic canvas
Grommet kit with 10 sets of grommets
double fold bias quilt binding, 3yd package
extra wide double fold bias tape, 3yd package

scissors or rotary cutter

Beach Bag measures: 
Base: 11 1/2" diameter circle
Height:17", width at top 17";
Outside pockets are 6 1/2" deep; Interior pockets measure 3 1/2" deep
Strap is 54" long

This is a PDF sewing pattern, not the finished product. You can make three styles of glasses cases with this pattern. You can have Ruffled or pleated trim, Pockets, Reversible or Quilted styles and even button/flower embellishments. There are also three sizes: reading glasses, regular eyeglass/sun glass case, slightly larger quilted case. These cases are great for glasses, sunglasses, and rotary cutters. Store your sunnies in style! Add your own flair with a special button flower trim.

*Eye Glass/Sun glass/Readers/Reversible case measures 6 5/8" from bottom to ruffle trim x 3 3/8" wide
*Quilted glasses/Reversible glasses case measures 7 3/8" from bottom to ruffled trim x 3 3/8" wide
*Embellished Eye Glass/Sun glass/Hipster/Reversible case measures 7 3/8" from bottom to ruffled trim x 3 5/8" wide

These padded glasses cases sport ruffled/pleated trim, pocket for extra pair of glasses, clip on sunglasses, ID, cash, etc. 

The cases require only fat quarters for both outside/lining and scrap pieces for ruffles. They contain an inner-lining of cotton or bamboo batting to protect those glasses from bumps or scratches. You also get detailed instruction on making the button and fabric flower trim.

The pattern is available to you immediately after purchase so you can pay, download, and sew today! Due to the nature of these patterns, there are no returns on PDF patterns.

The pattern is 25 pages long with full size pattern pieces for you to print out on your printer, then pin to fabric and cut out. Measurements are also given for the pattern pieces. You will get detailed instructions, photos/diagrams to explain each step to complete your project.

Custom Hand Embroidered Pet Portraits Using Thread Painting Techniques

I am still doing hand embroidered wedding items but also enjoy doing custom hand embroidered pet portraits. Our pets are so much a part of our lives and I so enjoy making a special image of them for you to treasure through the years. It takes many hours of work to make these pet portraits, one thread at a time, all made completely by hand.I use a technique known as "thread painting" which uses one thread at a time to layer on the colors of the embroidery floss to create a beautiful portrait. I am happy to combine multiple pets on one hoop if you like. I would suggest the larger hoop for more than one pet.

I use 4", 5" or 6" bamboo embroidery hoops with the finest DMC cotton floss to make these images. I will need at least one detailed photo with good light of your pet. The more detailed the photo, the more detailed I can make your portrait.

I would love to know any details you want to share about your pet to help me understand his/her personality. Please share the name you would like added to the portrait or any custom details you would like to have included. Please contact me with these custom details prior to purchasing the listing. If you have a pet that has gone on before you to Heaven, I can make you a portrait from your photographs to memorialize your sweet pet.

Wow, 2015 was a whirlwind for my family. After moving to Florida one of my daughters met the man of her dreams, they were together a year and became engaged and the wedding date was chosen for early January 2016. They desired to have a Hobbit-themed wedding which meant handmade items were needed! It was so much fun, everyone had a wonderful time in Hobbiton.

My sweet Beagle passed away, just prior to her 18th birthday and it devastated my family. She was perfect for our family and her loss hit us all very hard. Embroidering her on a hoop as a lasting memory of her cute face helped me to heal, some. Although we mourned her loss we soon realized we needed another pet, soon. We have scoured the shelters and rescue organizations over a couple of weeks and finally met our new four-legged family member. We did not intend to, but wound up with a much younger dog than what we were looking for. She demands alot and keeps us running. I am happy to have her in our home and we are meeting the challenge of having a puppy. I am glad for the quiet moments when I can look at my little Beagle embroidery, remembering her fondly. It is my hope that my pet embroideries will serve you well as a fond remembrance of a passed loved one, or celebrating your pet today.
